"Friends of Weinberg Village" was formed in 2004 to enhance the role of volunteers at Weinberg. The support of this group has been instrumental in the realization of the many goals and achievements which continue to improve this already outstanding facility. Friends of Weinberg Village is made up of volunteers who work hand-in-hand with the professional staff to effectively bring to reality the various goals of Weinberg Village. They do this by donating their valuable time, energy and/or money.

In addition to working on raising money for the Weinberg Challenge Grant, they have also launched several other successful events, such as the Chai Tea. The Tea is now an annual fundraiser and also serves to attract new members to Friends.

The support and hard work of the Friends provide additional programs, services and activities cherished by our seniors. They have helped with our beautification project and are partly responsible for the warm and welcoming ambiance of our facility. Their constants work enables us to continue to provide quality of life enhancements so each of the days of our residents' lives are filled with a reason to live.
